One of the players in my D&D campaign got the idea in his head to make name his Rogue “Bobba Fett“, so I made this paper miniature for him.

I absolutely stole the idea for the miniature from Jose Dominguez’s Brian Fett

Free Mutant Plant Paper Model

I created this model and I’m sure a colored version willl surface in the Carboard Warriors Forum Horde in the months to come. In the mean time dig out your crayons, or GIMP, and color yourself up some mutant plants, perfectly suitable for Gamma World or Mutants and Death Ray Guns action.

Serene Fist Set 2 Ninjas and Samurai a plenty – New Paper Miniatures by Okum Arts Review

This second release to the Serene Fist line, by David Okum, is even better than the unbelievably great fist set.

Even though it’s advertised as a 48 figure set (12 poses in 4 colors each), there is actually and unadvertised “Easter Egg” layer with an additional 11 models, 5 of which are unique to that layer. I won’t spoil what they are, but there are some whimsical and some mythological in the mix. This brings the set up to 59 figures for the measly price of $ 2.50.

Another nice feature included in this set is that the text is included as it’s own separate layer. Allowing you to disable the text when printing and saving you some ink in the process. It’s a little feature, but a nice one, and I appreciate it.

Personally, I’d love to see these Serene Fists become the industry standard for paper models. With fantastic art, multiple color choices, and the ability to disable text, I see them as the standard the competition should strive for.

I’m trying to make all the terrain and miniatures for my Mutants And Death Ray Guns campaign paper and portable.

One of the scenarios calls for the characters to scavange though piles of Archeotech/Junk for workable artifacts.

I originally thought of flat tiles, but that was too boring so I took it a step farther and made junk piles that are stackable for easy storage.

Dave Okum, of Okum Arts has released the first set in his new Serene Fist Line:

It’s a 48 Model Set, 12 poses, 6 Monks and 6 Bandits, available in Orange, Red, Green, and Gray color schemes, for the amazingly low price of $2.50.

OkumArts currently produces other lines in addition to Serene Fist, Whiplash Trigger, a wild west setting, and Retro Space, a manga influenced Buck Rogersish line. All of the lines are available on RPGNOW

It’s been mentioned that a Ninja vs. Samurai set as one of the planned additions to the Serene Fist line.
