Bobba Fett D&D Assassin, Now in Amazing Technicolor

David Wears, a.k.a. Kiladecus, was kind enough to spend some time coloring the great Bobba Fett.

I tweaked it a bit and ta da !!!

Bobba Fett D&D Assassin Paper Miniature

One of the players in my D&D campaign got the idea in his head to make name his Rogue “Bobba Fett“, so I made this paper miniature for him.

I absolutely stole the idea for the miniature from Jose Dominguez’s Brian Fett

Serene Fist Set 2 Ninjas and Samurai a plenty – New Paper Miniatures by Okum Arts Review

Serene Fist Set 2

This second release to the Serene Fist line, by David Okum, is even better than the unbelievably great fist set.

Even though it’s advertised as a 48 figure set (12 poses in 4 colors each), there is actually and unadvertised “Easter Egg” layer with an additional 11 models, 5 of which are unique to that layer. I won’t spoil what they are, but there are some whimsical and some mythological in the mix. This brings the set up to 59 figures for the measly price of $ 2.50.

Another nice feature included in this set is that the text is included as it’s own separate layer. Allowing you to disable the text when printing and saving you some ink in the process. It’s a little feature, but a nice one, and I appreciate it.

Personally, I’d love to see these Serene Fists become the industry standard for paper models. With fantastic art, multiple color choices, and the ability to disable text, I see them as the standard the competition should strive for.

MDRG Mutant And Death Ray Gun Junk Piles Free Printable Terrain

I’m trying to make all the terrain and miniatures for my Mutants And Death Ray Guns campaign paper and portable.

One of the scenarios calls for the characters to scavange though piles of Archeotech/Junk for workable artifacts.

I originally thought of flat tiles, but that was too boring so I took it a step farther and made junk piles that are stackable for easy storage.

Cyclops Robot – Free Paper Model

I created a Big Retro style Robot Paper Model for the Cardboard Warriors May Wierd War Themed Hoarde.

The model was well received, but my inking skill are amateurish.

Actual Artist, Dave Okum was kind enough to do a recolor.

FREE Dave Graffam Miniatures Terrain Paper Model: Observatory

Observatory

Enjoy this cool new FREE model from the minds of Thomas Weaver (AKA Tommygun) and Dave Graffam . Tommy’s geometry combined with Dave’s textures give you something fun and unique to add to your fantasy, medieval or steampunk games.

The Observatory is designed to work stand alone, or as an add-on to Dave’s upcoming Inventor’s House model, so if you’re planning to pick that one up, this is a great way to get started on it.

Bring on the Drones

Started toying with designing paper miniatures again…

THESE ARE NOT THE FINAL SKINS, just something familiar for me to work with while test building.

The first Protoype test build is an armed, hovering, security drone, equiped with twin weapons systems.

Second photo shows second generation prototype. Possibly a command unit, with potential enclosed weapon systems and capable of generating an eneryfield around itself for offensive and defensive purposes.

This photo shows a service Drone with mechanical arm, and redesigned chasis. Also a Messenger, or spy, Drone with no attachments skulking around as well.

I’m trying to keep the designs modular, so the finished models can be mixed an matched for more variety.

I had asked for suggestions on the Cardboard Warrriors forum, and legs were tossed around as an idea. No finished model for that yet, but I mocked up some just to see if the concept was sound.
